NAIFA DOL Workshop Webinar  Coming in January!

Starting in January 2017, NAIFA will host the DOL Workshop as a three part webinar series on January 12, 19, and 26 from 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm ET. NAIFA members can register at the special rate of $195 for all three webinars. This webinar series will be facilitated by John Wheeler, one of the content providers for the DOL Workshop. Click here  to register for this webinar series.

Diane Boyle, NAIFA’s Senior Vice President of Government Relations, issued the following statement regarding the new Administration and how it will affect the DOL Fiduciary Rule, “While the incoming Administration has expressed concern with the DOL Fiduciary Rule, the paths to repeal and/or modification still include many obstacles. The Financial institutions and NAIFA members must continue to work towards compliance with the law. The workshop is still relevant and members should be encouraged to participate.”

Using case studies and interactive exercises, the DOL Workshop provides strategies and tactics for identifying clients’ goals, objectives, risk tolerance, time horizons, expected outcomes and other details necessary to comply with the rule. The workshop will help advisors develop client-stewardship attributes required of fiduciary advisors.

Included in the cost is complimentary access to monthly live chat sessions with a NAIFA Government Relations expert where you may ask questions concerning the rule and how it affects your practice.
